• Phoenix Driving School in Náchod provides practical training and theory lessons for applicants for category B driving licences in both Czech and English.

 

• For more detailed information regarding instruction and training in English, please contact us through the contact form. Our company provides complete support for foreigners who do not have sufficient knowledge of the Czech language to successfully undergo the final exams.

 

• Phoenix Driving School in Náchod is the only driving school in the Czech Republic that provides complete instruction and training entirely in English under the supervision of an instructor and arranges an accredited English interpreter and translator for successfully completing the final exams required to obtain a driving license.

 

     THEORY INSTRUCTION

• Lessons take place at individually scheduled times at our modern training centre in Náchod. During theory lessons, we use detailed learning materials and files in accordance with the requirements of the Road Traffic Act No. 361/2000 Coll., as well as study applications and materials such as “AUTOŠKOLA? POHODLNĚ!

 

• The focus of our instruction is the theory of safe driving principles, which is an essential part of being a road user. Students learn road traffic rules, especially the meaning of vertical and horizontal road signs, and basic concepts in accordance with the Road Traffic Act No. 361/2000 Coll.

 

• All study materials are available through our website.

  • Each student receives a set of practical test questions for completing online e-tests at www.autoskola-testy.cz free of charge.

     TRAINING AND PRACTICAL DRIVING

​

• The practical training is divided into several stages in which the student gradually learns how to control the vehicle, reverse, park in various situations, start on an incline, operate the vehicle in both light and heavy traffic, choose the correct lane safely and in time, and recognise potentially dangerous situations to prevent accidents. Throughout the training, the student encounters many scenarios that may affect driving and safety. The training is based on the fundamental principle of road safety – Safety First. Students also receive instructions on how to properly handle traffic incidents such as accidents, insurance reporting, and situations requiring medical assistance or first aid. Our students will have the chance to experience everything they may encounter on the road.

 

• FIRST STAGE

  • The first stage focuses on basic vehicle control, proper pre-drive setup, and checking the safety and functionality of essential vehicle components. On the training ground, the student is introduced to the basic vehicle elements and gets their first opportunity to start, reverse, drive in a straight line, turn, and correctly perform manoeuvres such as turning and avoiding obstacles.

• SECOND STAGE

  • The second stage takes place in light traffic, where the student becomes familiar with real road situations. The student learns how to properly shift gears, identify appropriate speeds in accordance with traffic signs and road conditions, and avoid situations that could cause unnecessary disruption or limit other road users.

• THIRD STAGE

  • The third stage takes place in normal and heavy traffic and in special situations. Here, the student gains practical experience in handling the vehicle in dense traffic. This stage offers the opportunity to practise driving in challenging situations that require skill and knowledge to handle safely. The final part focuses on advanced vehicle control and helpful tips that will allow students not only to drive safely and confidently like professionals, but also to learn a few tricks that even their parents will appreciate.

• STAGE FOR STRONG AND ADVANCED DRIVERS

  • In the final stage, we offer a unique opportunity to try something extreme — suitable only for the most skilled students. Want to experience real big-city traffic? Then you can try driving in Hradec Králové. This experience will stay with you, and you will look back on it knowing that traffic in your own town is far more manageable than you may have thought. We guarantee that your perspective on traffic in your region will change instantly. During this lesson, the student gains invaluable insight into the importance of caution, attentiveness, and consideration for other drivers, and learns how difficult and dangerous traffic becomes when someone fails to follow the most essential rule: Safety First!
